Ordered this bike for my son's fourth birthday. He loves it but is still not riding all the time beacause he saying he is waiting to get bigger. He sometimes has problems turning it around. As a parent, I would say that it is very solid, strong and good-looking bike. Would give it five stars if my son took to it as I had hoped. I would buy it again but would wait until my son was 5 years old.
Very Good bike for a boy

My 5 year old nephew loves this bike, very good looking with nice details for the boys (like Mongoose logo tires), comes with an instruction/assembly manual for all Mongoose bikes (not specific for this model) so I better had it assembled by a bike shop technician. Very good removable training wheels, won't bend. Boys like the 'adult-type' rear coaster brake and works fine, the rear hand brake may be hard to handle for boys with little hands. We also bought the 'Avenir Ranger Youth Bike Helmet' which is OK and matches the orange and black paint design of the bike.
Crap

This bike is junk. Sure it's flashy. And the trick pegs look cool. But the thing is so heavy that my kid has a lot of difficulty maneuvering it. Too heavy. Brakes rub. Seat won't stay put. Poor quality.

after putting this bike together, I took it right back apart and sent it back. Very cheaply made. I don't recommend it.

My 5 year old loves this bike and can ride it well. After 2 months of use it is still in great shape. Cool bike.
